Talia was a standout athlete in high school, starting on varsity 3 years for volleyball, basketball and track. All 3 of her sports teams were successful all four years, with basketball and track resulting at the state level with 2nd place finishes. Talia was recruited to compete at the collegiate level for track at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, where she attained NCAA All-American status for her sprinting, as well as was nominated team captain on a team of 90 women. Talia has coached at the collegiate level for four years as the sprints and jumps coach and helped many of her athletes to achieve All-American status as well as conference champions. She is currently on her second year of coaching at Metea Valley High School as the jumps and hurdles coach. Talia graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Sport Science, as well as recently attained her Masters degree in Reading and Literacy from Benedictine University. She is currently teaching Adapted Physical Education in Naperville district 204.
